After the University of Texas at Austin and graduate school he was employed as a credit analyst, then a securities analyst and eventually portfolio manager for several banks and mutual fund management companies in the mid and southwest.
A strong curiosity and interest in business and market cycles launched him into developing Business Cycle Developments in the early 1980’s and he’s been self-employed providing this BCD Research to institutional money managers for some 40+ years.
He’s the blessed father of five children and 12 grandchildren. Bill enjoys skiing, hunting, hiking and, when possible, canoeing and portaging the Boundary Waters of Minnesota. He is fortunate to view his business vocation as an avocation.
